Yeabridge Farm

Please note that there is now a kitchen installed. You may read some reviews from last year mentioning no kitchen but we have rectified that now! Yeabridge Farm is a light and airy farmhouse with a large lounge/kitchen/diner and with a garden for guests to sit in. There is no electric hook up for electric cars and the nearest power points would be Yeovil, Bridport or Chard. We are just off the A3066 which is handy for all the great locations in the area but please allow for some road noise. You walk into your own porch which then opens into a large hallway. There is a good size log basket here for logs should you choose to light the wood burner. Turn right into the spacious room which has a kitchen/diner at one end and a cosy sofa and tv area at the other end, perfect for families or friends to gather , chat ,cook and relax in front of the tv. The sofa is a large 4 seater but with room for one more. It has reclining seats at each end and is extremely comfortable. There is a wood burner should you choose to have a fire in the evenings.,winter only.(Also plenty of room for the Christmas tree!) There are 3 bedrooms here at Yeabridge Farm. Room one is an en-suite and has a four poster bed and a set of bunk beds set around the corner for young adults or children over the age of 12 only. This room has great views over the Dorset downs. Room two has a queen size bed with similar views over the Dorset countryside. Room three has twin beds and has views looking out over our pond. Rooms two and three share a family size bathroom. Outside you have the use of the front garden which has plenty of space. There is a swing seat in the corner tucked away and a table with 6 chairs in a sunny spot. You are welcome to bring your own portable bbq. To the side of the house we have a large pond where guests are welcome to walk around and if you’d like to feed the ducks only a small amount of bread please or ask us for some duck food for them. The small picturesque town of Beaminster is a five minute drive away and has pubs and restaurants as does Crewkerne which is also minutes away. There is a brilliant village shop which has most things that you'd need plus a great pub in the centre of the village which is really good for food and takeaways. Front Garden We are available through the Air bnb app, telephone and mobile phone and once you are here we are available through a connecting door which is kept locked. We are in the heart of the west Dorset countryside with lovely walking nearby. The Jurassic Coast is a 20 minute drive away. The coastal town of West Bay is the closest town on the coast to us. You might recognise it from the hit tv show Broadchurch which was filmed there. Lyme Regis is about a 40 minute drive a is a must to visit when on your holiday in the area. Our village of Mosterton has a village shop and a pub which serves good food at reasonable prices, about a twenty minute walk away or two minutes in the car. The local small picturesque town of Beaminster is a five minute drive away has a couple of pubs and restaurants as does Crewkerne. As we are in the countryside it is probably easier for guests to have a car although there are local taxis if you’d like a drink in the evenings! Yeabridge Farm is not suitable for children. We have a no child policy.
