A quiet country cottage with a pool

The guesthouse is composed of two mobile homes, total living area of 37m2. It is located in the back of our garden. Our swimming pool is available exclusively for you. We follow the recommendations of the health authorities regarding the cleanliness and sanitation of our space, to make it a safe and clean environment for everyone: guests and hosts. We share our orchard. We live in a historic village. The forest and the river are near. Santa Comba Dão, with shopping facilities, is 2 km away. The space you'll be renting consists of two mobile homes of 7.5 x 2.5 meter each. A terrace of around 30 square meter completes the setup of the place to rent. In our garden: an orchard, a small vegetable garden . We share these with you. The swimming pool is for your use only. The guest house has a separate entrance from the street. There is space for two cars inside the gate. You have full access to the two mobile homes, the terrace and the surrounding garden, including the pool. We value your privacy. We are usually available to help out in case of doubts or when you need information about the surroundings. We live on the edge of a small village, Colmeosa. Most houses are constructed, at least the lower floor, with natural stones carved from the boulders (casas de pedra). There are several of these villages around, where time has come to a standstill. Two kilometers down the (unpaved) road you can reach the Criz river. Normally it is good for swimming, though late in summer algae may turn the water green and less attractive to dive in. At a distance of two kilometers, the charming city of Santa Comba Dão offers shopping opportunities to fulfill your daily needs. There is a beautiful 49 km bike and hiking path closeby (Ecopista do Dão). Bicycles can be rented (around € 10 per day) close by. We have two social cats, Zola (black and white) and Chico (orange).
