Courtyard Studio hideaway @ Oak Farm

This studio apartment has a double bed, small dining table and two armchairs with a log burning stove and has a separate kitchenette and bathroom. It is set in our courtyard but completely independent, an ideal country hideaway. We provide everything you need for your first few breakfasts including a freshly made loaf of bread and homemade jam or marmalade. There is also an excellent pub within walking distance. You are welcome to walk over our fields and sit in our garden. The Studio has a double (4'6") bed at one end and a sofa and dining area at the other. There is also a lovely log-burning stove (not currently pictured). There is a small separate kitchenette with sink, small oven and hob, microwave kettle etc. The adjoining bathroom has a bath with shower over it. The bed has down duvets and pillows and pure Egyptian cotton sheets. You have your own entrance and it is tucked away in the corner of our yard so you can be as private as you wish. We provide you with everything you need for a delicious breakfast which you make yourself. The Studio has its own access and you can also use a shared laundry if needed. There is plenty of secure parking and country walks directly from the property. We live in the main house opposite if you need anything. We like to leave you in peace but also love imparting some local knowledge if required! Our farmhouse has stunning views over the Monmouthshire countryside - spectacular in every season. We are close to the lovely market towns of Usk, Monmouth and Abergavenny and there are a number of excellent pubs and restaurants nearby. The Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains and Wye Valley are all within 45 minutes drive. We would recommend having a car but we are walking distance from a bus route between Newport and Monmouth too. Other Things to Note The Hall Inn pub with good traditional food within walking distance from the cottage and the excellent Raglan Arms is only 2 miles drive away.
