Cherry Blossom Chalet is an inviting two-story private unit with a queen bed and a full pull out sofa. Hidden on this unique property you’ll find it perfectly nestled near our creek for a stress-free stay. There is an equipped kitchen with dining area, bathroom all upstairs and large living space down stairs. This place is perfect for couple getaway or small family vacation. You deserve to discover how easy it is to relax and have fun. Located halfway between Cloudcroft and Alamogordo at 6,700 feet elevation you can enjoy our cool summer or a little snow during the winter. Surrounded by eight acres of trees and a creek running through out the property unwind in our peaceful surroundings just one mile from the main road. Local wildlife includes elk, deer and turkey that pass through on a daily basis. There are rough trails to walk or run up the property where you can meet up with a gravel road to circle back for a three-mile adventure. The well-known Old Apple Barn is at the main road. A perfect place to stop for a treat or something special. Heading up the mountain Cloudcroft, NM is a short 10-mile drive. You can spend time shopping along the old town boardwalk, eating at the local restaurants or just having coffee and homemade pastries at the local bakery. During the winter months you can head over to Ski Cloudcroft and ice skate at the rink in downtown Cloudcroft. There are local festivals, the Cherry Festival in June and the Apple Festival in October. There are many special events in our area that can be enjoyed. Everyone deserve to discover how easy it is to relax and have fun in this special place. We are available during the 9am - 5pm work day. Self check in is availble for those arriving after 5pm Our rural neighborhood is nice and quite. With shop and plenty of atmosphere only minutes away by car. Car is a great way to see the most, but bike rides can be quite exhilarating too. 2 Dog Max, owners must bring poop bags and pick up immediately. Owners must bring their own food & water bowls. Dogs must remain on leash at all times when outside. Weak cellular service on property and the surrounding area. Trash must be in a garbage bags when placed in the dumpster, we are happy to provide more garbage bags as needed. Grocery bags are not acceptable, guests that place trash in the dumpster not in a garbage bag will be charged a $20 cleaning fee. Laundry is in a communal, detached, building. Guests will need to bring their own supplies. Laundry availability is daily between, Sunrise - 11am and 2pm -sundown. (11am-2pm is when business linen will be cleaned)
