Lovely Loft Home with Gorgeous Mountain Views

This is a beautifully decorated and updated one bedroom, loft home. It has its own private entrance, a gas fireplace, a master balcony, and beautiful mountain views! It's kept very clean and enclosed in a separate building from our home. We are in a great, middle location to enjoy the downtown area or Stallion Springs/Bear Valley. This suite beats any hotel or other accommodation in the area! If you're looking for a place that's charming, clean and relaxing, then come stay with us and enjoy! This Guest Suite Loft is enclosed in a separate building on our property (our house is approximately 75 feet away.) It is about 650 square feet and has its own private entrance. Inside, your guest suite is modernized and gorgeously decorated. The upstairs loft includes a queen bed, a closet, a small sitting area and your own private balcony. The downstairs includes a full kitchen (with all the necessary cooking equipment; no dishwasher), a table and chairs, a bathroom, a living room with loveseat (couch for two), satellite TV, a DVD player and a charming gas fireplace to keep the place warm and cozy. There's a skylight which allows some soft, natural light into the suite. There's also a coffee maker with fresh ground coffee along with creamer, sugar, hot tea, water bottles and snacks. Free WiFi is also available. This is truly the perfect home for a short term or long term stay! The mountain views from your guest suite are beautiful! We live on approximately 12 acres so there are virtually no neighbors and you're suite faces about 10 acres of open land. Occasionally, you can see bunnies, deer and coyotes running across our property. We live in a great location to enjoy Tehachapi. Your guest suite is located about 100ft from the main road (Valley Blvd/202). It is in a remote area but not too far from Tehachapi's primary hot spots; downtown Tehachapi and the Stallions Springs or Bear Valley areas. It is about a 10-15 minute drive either way you go. We are about a 5 minute drive from the wonderful Triassic Vineyards! And your guest suite is right along the most popular routes of the Gran Fondo held in September. Once your booking is confirmed, I will give you a code to unlock the front door. No 4-wheel drive is required. My husband and I are friendly and enjoy meeting our guests but we respect your privacy. WASHER/DRYER: Please let me know if you need to use your private washer and dryer. It is in a separate room and I would need to give you access. Laundry detergent and fabric softener is provided for you. OVERNIGHT GUESTS: If you would like to have extra overnight guests (above the number that was booked), please note that there will be an additional charge of $50 per guest, per night. The maximum number of extra guests is 2. The reason for this is because the amount paid is for a certain number of people. Since we pay for all the utilities, the maintenance of our septic tank and the wear and tear on the furniture, we feel that we need to set some boundaries. Unfortunately, in the past, we've had extra guests stay for weeks without paying so we are trying to avoid this in the future. If you have a special circumstance, please contact me. Sorry if this is an inconvenience. Note: The living room has a loveseat (a small couch for two) and two seating chairs. Due to their size, none of these would be suitable to sleep on. CAUTION: This home has stairs, a balcony and an open fireplace which may not be suitable for small children. NO SMOKING ANYWHERE on the premises. NO PETS allowed. No exceptions. RACERS: Please note that we are about an hour and a half drive away from the Tejon Ranch/Lebec area. CHECK IN/CHECK OUT: Please note that CHECK IN time is 4PM. CHECK OUT time is 11AM (unless there is a previous arrangement between us). There will be a late charge fee of $25 per hour after the check-out time. I apologize for this but in the past, we've had guests check out really late without notice. We need this valuable time to clean the loft thoroughly before the next guest arrives. Thanks again!
