3 night min. stay Cozy, clean and ALL NEW FLOORS UPSTAIRS! Built in 1900, 3 (can be 4) bedroom home, with big kitchen in fun-filled Greenwood Lake! Close to: -hiking (1 block from AT) -walk to the lake and beach for fishing/paddle-boarding/boating -4th of July fireworks -boarding/skiing mountain (5 minutes away) - Sleeps 9 MAX. (Please contact host to discuss prior to booking & add all children/infants on guest list). -DOGS ALLOWED FOR ADDITIONAL FEE-$15/night per dog & $300 deposit Come and stay at our cozy 3 bedroom home in the heart of the Village of Greenwood Lake. We are located in a quiet cul de sac off the main street in Greenwood Lake, with a fenced in yard and veggie garden. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and one comfortable family room downstairs- easily convertible to a 'master bedroom' with a sofa-bed and private bathroom. The house comfortably sleeps 6, with an additional trundle bed to make room for several more little people- please contact host if you would like to have more than 6 people and please include all infants and children in the number of guests. There is a pack 'n play and a co-sleeper available for the youngest family members. The yard is fenced in so little ones and dogs are safe. Just be careful to keep the hot tub covered when unsupervised or not in use. Wake up in the morning and stroll over for a morning coffee at the local café or diner. Or begin your morning relaxing on the deck - the hot tub is right there. The large deck right off of the kitchen is perfect for barbecues! There is a brand new gas grill and a fire pit. Check through our small garden in the summer and see what is ripe for picking. Or, just relax in one of the hammocks. - Dishwasher. - 5 person Hot Tub (CLOSED JAN-MARCH) - 2 blocks from the Lake - 2 full bathrooms PLEASE note that there is NO ACCESS TO THE WASHER/DRYER. Greenwood Lake Village is small and easily walkable. It is surrounded on three sides by the lake. There is so much to do in this area, and it is all so close. Just 5 blocks away is the town beach with a lifeguard and local bands evenings in the summer. Rent a boat, pontoon, kayak or paddleboard at a local Marina and go out on the nine mile lake for some fishing, lounging or to watch the sun dip down over the low mountains ringing the Lake. Drive 14 minutes to Warwick to the local drive-in for a movie, to the many wineries or up the mountain to the award winning (#2 on TripAdvisor ranking for best ice cream in USA) Bellvale Farms Creamery for a sinfully delicious ice cream treat overlooking the beautiful Hudson Valley. There will be ample information at the house to steer you towards all of the fun things to do in the Village or you can go to the town website for more information. In Fall, enjoy fall hiking and the stunning fall foliage and don’t forget apple-picking at any of several apple orchards- 7 -20 minutes away. Winter means easy access to snow boarding or skiing at Mount Peter, 5 minutes away by car. Ice fishing on the lake or shopping at the nearby Woodbury Commons Premium Outlet. Greenwood Lake HAS IT ALL! Don’t miss out on the fun. You do not need a car to get here! There is a bus that leaves from NYC Port Authority with bike accomodations. In less than 2 hours it drops you not a 3 minute walk from the house- literally around the corner. Bike or walk around the Village and relax in the hot tub, you still have access to so much to do. There is also a train that goes to Tuxedo Park and several taxi services (ie: "Night Owl Taxi Service") who will bring you from the train to the house. Boats, kayaks and paddle boards can be rented out from local docks less than 5 minutes drive away. Bike rentals available on Windermere Ave. In the winter, Mount Peter less than 5 minutes away with skiing and snowboarding rentals.
