Central Abergavenny 2-bed renovated apartment
A beautiful light and stylish first floor apartment in the heart of the popular Abergavenny town centre. Perfect for couples, friends, families and business travel. 2 double bedrooms with award-winning Emma mattresses. Fully equipped kitchen with Neff/Bosch appliances. Sliding sash wooden windows with shutters. Desk/workspace with free WiFi. Flatscreen smart TV. Modern bathroom with walk-in shower and LED lighting. Following a complete full building renovation over the past few years, this modern apartment is on the first floor of our building, with another apartment on the first floor and a further apartment on the second floor. On the ground floor is the highly rated "Tapas Twist" tapas bar. Children are very welcome and we are happy to provide a travel cot/highchair if required. There are two further apartments within the building which altogether sleep up to 10, if you require a larger space. As we are located in the town centre, there is some limited parking in the street for drop-offs and off-loading luggage etc, but three public car parks all within a 6 minute walk of the property. One of these is free other than on a Tuesday, and another costs £4.80 per 24 hour period or £18 for up to 5 days. The whole building has been sound proofed as part of the renovation but please be aware that we are right in the heart of the town centre and there may be some residual noise from nearby restaurants and bars on Friday and Saturday nights, particularly in the warmer weather. We live around half a mile away in Abergavenny so will usually be close by during your stay should you need us. We are more than happy to help you make the most of your stay and you are welcome to contact us by text/email if you have any questions at all. There is a key code entry system at the main door for entry into the lobby and then a key lock box with the individual key for each apartment once inside. Discover locally-produced food and fantastic scenery - the beautiful Black Mountains are the backdrop to Abergavenny in the south east corner of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The town is a great base for walking, cycling and enjoying the great outdoors. With our annual Abergavenny Food Festival, the town is also a mecca for foodies - and there are plenty of gorgeous gastro pubs and restaurants to try in the surrounding countryside too. The town has regular markets where you can buy quality produce grown locally as well. Abergavenny has history and heritage in spades - come and explore the castles, medieval mansions, Roman remains and standing stones. The Monmouthshire and Brecon canal is on the doorstep and the Blaenavon World Heritage and Big Pit mine are just up the road. We provide our welcome guest folder with plenty of leaflets and maps, and of course lots of our own local eatery recommendations! Abergavenny train station is a 20 minute walk away and the bus station a 10 minute walk away. No car necessarily required as plenty on the doorstep, but Abergavenny is located just half an hour's drive from the M4 and about 50 minutes north of Cardiff, and all the Welsh capital has to offer. Excellent taxi service in the main street just outside the apartment if required Access to the first floor of the building is via an external set of metal stairs
