Sofa to Sand in less than 5 mins! "Diddly" is as it sounds & perfectly located in the coastal village of Gwithian. Easy beach access, where 3 miles of golden sand awaits. Close to village pub, other nearby eateries & attractions. St Ives easily accessible. Open plan living/kitchen/dining, bedroom with king size bed & shower room (obscured glazed window). We aim to provide a quiet and cosy practical space, you will want to use as a base to explore Cornwall. Diddly is all on one level internally with only 3 steps for access. We offer WiFi with limited phone signal (in the village as a whole) but if a Digital Detox is what you are after, then look no further. For 6 months of the year you don't even need to go onto the road to walk to the beach (we are the only accommodation in the village to offer this) There is a shop open from Easter - Oct and mobile catering vans that come in 2-3 times a week to our family run campsite - everything you'll need, is on your doorstep. Your own transport is probably best. There is a bus service that runs in the summer. Taxi’s are available from nearby Hayle. Plenty of off road parking at the accommodation. True local family (having lived in the village for 40+ years) we live in the property next door. Busy lives, work and hobbies keep us occupied but we are here to help and answer any questions you may have. Equally we will respect your privacy. Good eateries: Sunset Surf, Godrevy Cafe, Rockpool Bar and Restaurant, The Red River Inn (village pub), Trevaskis Farm - PYO fruit and amazing puddings, Hells Mouth Cafe - to mention but a few! Couple of local supermarkets in Hayle town. The village is also on a bus route and you can walk through the Nature Reserve to get to the beach. We are a working farm, so you may have some tractor noise on occasions. Plenty of beautiful coastal walks right on your doorstep. Seal Cove is just up on Godrevy Head, as well as the South West Coast Path. We are situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The St Erth to St Ives picturesque branch line is little more than 10mins drive away and is the most stunning way to enter St Ives - which itself is a hub of activity with museums, boat trips, beaches, shops and restaurants.
