It has a general store, coffee shops, a pub, great pizza and gelato. There are also fabulous markets on every other weekend. The larger town of Murwillumbah is 30 drive from Highfield. The Highfield Country House is located on a property next to the Main House, which may/may not have people staying at any one time. The owners may often stay in the Main House, and you may see some farmhands in the surrounds of the property as well, which adds to the ambiance of the entire experience.
