Our home is only 5 blocks from the beach so its a perfect house to enjoy a great holiday with numerous entertaining areas. Sipping a cocktail on the upstairs balcony while watching the sun set over the Indian Ocean proves a regular favourite pastime. In summer we get a wonderful ocean breeze called the "Fremantle Doctor" which cools the house down naturally flowing through the house. Both our guest rooms have luxurious 100% cotton sheets, Egyptian cotton bath sheets, ceiling fan & air-con, WIFI and shared use of kitchen areas. We recently had our house built to a passive solar design so its comfortable in winter and summer with lots of natural light. We are right near several great cafes and food outlets, a bottle liquor shop, post office, pharmacy and supermarket. There are 4 outdoor living areas at our home as well as dining and family room with gas log fire, large screen TV, HD DVD player, Sonos sound system, Apple TV, Netflix, Stan and more. There is a TV and DVD for you to watch in the comfort of your guest room. We provide a library of DVD movies as well. Enjoy bed and continental breakfast. We even have an electric massage chair that you are welcome to relax in! Numerous great cafes and restaurants nearby, including wood fired pizza place almost next door. Kim is an engineer and Annie works in the film & TV industry as a casting director, acting coach and lecturer. All our children have 'flown the coop'- eldest a lawyer currently living & working in London, second an actor and filmmaker also living in London and our youngest, our daughter is studying Medicine (final year) in Perth. We have a range of great cafes and takeaway food places right near us - Pizzaca Pizza is almost next door and Pizzaca Pasta is a few steps away. There is a gym, pharmacy/post office, bottle shop that serves alcohol, Vietnamese restaurant and hairdresser all 2 min walk away - even a tattoo parlour! One block away is an IGA supermarket, Japanese Sushi takeaway, library and more pharmacies and coffee shops. Beautiful Scarborough Beach is 1 km away where you can have a fabulous swim in the Indian Ocean. We are very close to public transport and the 990 bus stop is only 2 min walk away on Scarborough Beach Road which can take you to Scarborough Beach in 7 minutes or Perth CBD in 20. It comes every 5 min during peak hours and 10 min at other times. There is a TV and DVD for you to watch in the comfort of your room. We also provide a library of movies on DVD for you to watch. Our checkin is from 12 noon to 10pm with prior arrangement. We can accomodate a late night check in but this will incur a charge of $10 extra for each hour after 10pm guests arrive.
