The Bothy ,Shrubhill, Dunblane.FK15 9PA

We have been up and running for 18months now really loving having people here. We converted the old barn on the upper level 2 years ago. Homemade jam ,fresh eggs on arrival etc It has its own access . you are totally private ., We are in the middle of scotland! If its your 1st time allow at least 2 days to visit the area ,wether its Stirling/Doune Castle or Dunblane ,Bannockburn ,the Highlands, loch Lomond. the famous golf course of Gleneagles is 15 minutes up the road. The list is endless! The Bothy is 10 minutes from M9 motorway before the A9north. We are so central to Stirling/Bridge of Allan /Doune/Dunblane which has a train station.Golf lovers nr Gleneagles.Walkers near the Trossachs! The Bothy is newly converted 1 bedroom with twin beds. surrounded by owners 2acre garden.Has its own sitting room with kitchen area which has dual hobb/fridge/toaster kettle. I provide home made jam, eggs ,bread, milk.orange juice, and Muesli,tea and coffee on arrival. The snug area has its own woodburner for those colder days! The Bothy is newly renovated. Very light and airy. Views out to the west . The snug with the wood burner and the small kitchen area very comfy . It is very quiet apart from hearing the birds if you don't mind that! The bothy is totally yours very spacious. Easy parking. We will be very welcome to give any information on the area, where to eat etc. We are very lucky here. 5 minutes from Dunblane train station. From there you can go north to Inverness/Aberdeen or to Edinburgh or Glasgow... also buses to london Stage coach leave from Dunblane or Stirling. Stirling Train station there is a daily train to london and a night sleeper. You will not be disappointed staying here ,from the views alone to homemade jam and just chilling out! You can park outside.The bothy is is totally self contained and all yours. Very happy to give you ideas of what to do in the area and a tour of our garden! Just a stunning area and so central to everything. You need a car to get to us. We are 10 minutes from Dunblane/ Bridge of Allan and 10 minutes from Stirling train stations. Glasgow airport is 50 minutes. Edinburgh Edinburgh is 35 minutes. Just the tranquility of the place. Also the stunning views looking out west to Ben Ledi and the hills beyond. The Bothy is surrounded by the owners stunning garden.
