Karinya Farmstay 'Escape to the Country'

We invite you to step away from the fast pace of the hustle and bustle and the daily grind to come and relax at Karinya. Karinya literally means 'a place of peace and rest' and that's exactly what you'll find at this beautiful farm stay. Wake up to the mist rising through the valley and up over the mountains. Spend the days lazing by the pool or enjoying one of the many near by attractions. Or you can even try your hand at farming and be part of grooming the horses or feeding the sheep and cows. Karinya Farm stay is situated on 7 picturesque acres and looks out over hundreds of acres with nothing but green rolling vistas, grazing livestock and tree studded mountains to see. This beautifully styled property has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 6 adults and 6 children. For groups larger than 12 guests, there is a separate pool studio (the 5th bedroom) which sleeps 2 adults and 2 children. Just an hour and 20 mins north of Sydney, 50 mins to the vineyards of the Hunter Valley, 30 mins to the most beautiful beaches, or 15 mins to Westfields Tuggerah, Karinya Farmstay is perfectly located to either relax your days away or enjoy a day trip to any of these amazing destinations. Enjoy private use the main house including heated swimming pool, children's playground including swings, 2m rock wall, slippery dip and cubby house. Or build a fire in the fire pit, come and be part of the feeding of horses, sheep and cows each evening, enjoy an outdoor movie experience, or a picnic down by the dam. You will be able to contact us at any time throughout your stay via text, email or phone call. We will also be on the property to feed all the animals, between 730am and 830am each morning and between 530pm and 630pm at night. Please note: To ensure your privacy, we will not enter the house yard/paddock closest to the house, unless an emergency arises. The Dooralong valley is known on the Central Coast for its picturesque mountains and green pastures with grazing livestock. It is a place of peace and quiet, somewhere to rest and recharge. Even though it's only 15 minutes from suburbia it honestly feels like you're out in the country in the middle of nowhere. We are happy to drop guests to Wyong train station which is 15 minutes from our property. Trains run every 30 minutes from Wyong to the City. The city of Sydney has so much to offer, Harbour bridge, Opera house, Darling Harbour, Shopping in the beautiful malls, Taronga Zoo, Luna Park. My multi day pass is $24 per adult and gives you unlimited travel on buses, trains and ferries. We are also happy to organise a half or full day wine tour to the hunter valley (50 minutes away) cost depends on how many adults are going, but price ranges from $70-$130 per person. Enjoy private use of the entire house including heated swimming pool, children's playground complete with swings, 2m rock wall, slippery dip and cubby house. Or build a fire and toast marshmallows in the fire pit, cook a pizza in the outdoor pizza oven! Come and be part of the animal feeding each evening, enjoy an outdoor movie experience, or a picnic and glass of wine down by the dam.
