Enjoy your stay in Devon in a recently redecorated cosy house. Outdoor hot tub, casual seating area leading out onto a private field, access to a squash court and tennis court. Lots of local public footpaths to explore, Exmoor zoo and the Dinosaur park close by, pebble beaches at Lynton and Lynmouth and the sandy beaches 30 mins away... there is lots to enjoy! **strong preference for bookings not to begin on a Saturday** **bookings between 23/12/21 and 03/01/22 no shorter than 5 nights** Situated in the quaint hamlet of Knightacott, on the fringe of Exmoor National Park, the Linhay offers panoramic views and a welcome retreat into the rolling Devonshire hills. You can enjoy watching the sun set over a beautiful valley or watch a large smart TV. We live in the same area and will be happy to pop round if you need any assistance. With COVID19, we are being especially careful about cleanliness. Bratton Fleming is the nearest village to the hamlet. It is a mile down the road and has a local village shop, which is open every day, a post office, church and a large children's park. There are plenty of lovely public footpath countryside walks. Exmoor zoo and the Dinosaur Park are only a few miles away. Our closest seaside cove is Combe Martin (15 min drive). The famous surf beaches Woolacombe (28 min drive), Croyde (36 min drive), and Saunton Sands (37 min drive) along with its links golf course, are also popular destinations. Exmoor National Park offers horse riding, swimming, fishing, Tarka trail cycling path and hiking routes. There are two neighbouring cottages nearby, so we kindly ask that you keep the noise down outside after 10pm. Access to the tennis court is a two-minute walk - up the road and through a field. The squash court is next door through a courtyard (you will have detailed directions in the welcome pack). Although in good condition, please do not expect Olympic standards and **bring your own rackets and balls**! The courts are shared with one other AirBnB property, working on a first-come, first-serve basis. We do ask you do not monopolise either facility and if other guests are waiting please restrict your time to no more than an hour.
