The Harepath Granary
A grade 2 listed 5-star converted granary. Bright and airy, with upstairs sitting room and kitchenette, with feature oak beams. Views of the historic courtyard and the Axe River valley. Downstairs is a large double bedroom, en-suite shower room, and built-in washing machine. A sunny area outside for relaxing with coffee or wine. 5 minutes drive to the beach and cliffs at Seaton, 10 minutes to the fishing village of Beer, 20 minutes to Sidmouth, and to Lyme Regis. Close to pubs and restaurants. The Granary combines modern facilities with a touch of history. Originally part of the Harepath Farm dated 1610, The Granary was rebuilt after fire in 1870, and converted to it's present form in 2004. Set in farmland, The Granary also has good access via the A3025 to the many surrounding characterful villages and sea-side towns. The Granary is completely self-contained with it's own entrance, and allocated parking space. The immediate neighbourhood consists of the barns around the courtyard, the farm, and a smallholding all accessed via a gravel road. A very quiet area, but with good neighbours available if needed. Seaton and this area of East Devon are known for their lovely beaches, interesting pubs and restaurants, and friendly people. Good area for walking, with quick access by car to the local beaches and country villages. Regular bus service to Exeter and Lyme Regis within 2 minutes walk.
