The Courtyard - a tranquil rural retreat

The Courtyard is a stylish self-contained studio within a traditional converted timber framed barn. It is situated along a peaceful rural lane in the stunning Deben Valley, close to Framlingham with easy access to the coast. With its own access and private patio it has a large bedroom, a bathroom and a breakfast area. Breakfast is included. Two good pubs are within 15/20 mins walk through stunning countryside. Snape Maltings, Orford, Aldeburgh and Southwold are all within easy driving distance The Courtyard is light, airy and spacious, part of a traditional timber framed Suffolk Barn which was converted in 2013. There are attractive features including exposed timber studs with all mod cons such as underfloor heating. The pretty courtyard is planted with figs and lavender and there is a bistro set for an outdoor breakfast or an evening drink. The breakfast area has a mini fridge, kettle, toaster and cutlery and crockery. The TV in the bedroom has terrestrial TV and USB/HDMI ports for dongles. WiFi is available. Please note that due the rural location 4G is very patchy and the WiFi reception can vary a bit! We live in the attached barn and are normally available should you need any advice or assistance. The Courtyard is totally separate and will allow you complete privacy should you want it. We are situated in a beautiful countryside setting surrounded by fields and woodland. There are lots of great walks in the immediate locality and it is great for cycling with lots of quite lanes. There are two excellent local pubs about 20/25 minutes walk; The Queen at Brandeston and The Bell at Cretingham. Framlingham and Wickham Market are both about 10 minutes drive and Woodbridge is about 20 minutes drive
