Flat in the heart of nature - Peace & Relax
Our flat is located in a hamlet of the nearby village, just 8km from Biella. It is part of a renewed farmstead, right in the middle of woods and meadows. The flat is on the ground floor and has its own entrance (separated from the rest of the house). In front of the flat there is a courtyard, with a gazebo and barbecue, where our dog lives (she is very friendly). In the morning you might be awoken by the rooster and hens singing. This place is ideal for people that love nature and want to escape from the hectic city life; however it is not the right accomodation if you are bothered by country noises (the hen house is quite close to the apartment and the hens and rooster might get noisy even during the night as well as our dog might bark by night). There are a few paths you can take in the woods to wander around and reach the nearby villages. It is advisable to have your own vehicle as Ternengo is not very well connected by public transport (there is only 1 bus line and doesn't pass that often during the day). The flat is entirely for you to use in complete privacy, the only shared parts of the house are outside (courtyard and garden). You can use the barbecue if you like and sunbathe near the gazebo. Piera and Maurizio, my parents and owner of the house, live on the first floor, above the flat. Piera speaks English and German very well and will be happy to chat with you and help you out if you need any information about the area. Behind the house there is a wide parking area for your car/bike. Ternengo is not well served by public transport, so to be able to freely move around and explore the surroundings it is advisable to have your own vehicle. The bathroom does not have a shower but only a small tub. In the kitchen there are no oven nor dishwasher. The washing machine is not located inside the apartment, if you need to use please ask Piera. For breakfast we offer the, coffee, milk, toasted biscuits nad jam (self-service).
