Private Waterfront Cabin on Lake: Cloudloft Cabin

Enjoy a relaxing couples' getaway or bring the whole family to our beautiful wooded lakefront property on a quiet, private lake perfect for seasonal swimming, floating, boating, and fishing. Enjoy our waterfront firepit, hot tub, ample outdoor spaces with seating and dining, and our summer water toys including a pedal boat, floaties, & paddleboard. We offer high-speed internet and a small workspace to be remote work friendly and accommodate streaming and video calling. Our ~760 sq. foot cabin has one bedroom and a loft bedroom accessible by stairs. The living room offers a cozy fireplace, expandable dining table/workspace, and a pull-out couch that converts to a queen bed (table or pullout bed can be set up in advance by request). Our mattresses, linens, and towels are premium hotel-quality and all newly purchased in 2021. We have one bathroom with a tub/shower. Our kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking including a fridge, oven/stove, coffeemaker, toaster, compact dishwasher, and dishes for up to 6. The deck offers lake views, 2 BBQs (gas and charcoal: your preference) and a large dining table. The yard has reclining chairs and plenty of seating on the water, and a firepit. You can walk into the water from the property, and we are next to the community dock for boat launching. We recommend bringing water shoes if you plan to walk out from the shallow side. We have a hot tub that fits 6 people. In the summer we offer a pedal boat, paddleboard, and several floaties. We have 3 adult lifejackets (2 regular and 1XL), a kids' jacket, and puddlejumpers. There is trout in the lake and you are welcome to fish in summer (we do not supply fishing gear). The lake is motor-free and is calm and great for swimming and floating. Access: The property is accessed via August smart lock, you will receive a code in advance. Parking: There is parking for 2-3 vehicles onsite. Community: This is a quiet lake community, quiet hours and respect for neighbors will be expected. We are in a wooded area near a forest, you may see some local creatures outside including deer and creepy crawlies. We do our best to keep the cabin spotless and bug-free, but the occasional friendly bug may find it's way inside. The cabin is heated, but in the colder months can sometimes struggle to keep up and we recommend using the wood-burning fireplace to keep things cozy. Our bathroom is unheated and can get a bit chilly during cold snaps, however we provide space heaters for every room. We have air conditioning to keep things cool in the summer. We are family friendly! Amenities for kids include: kids' utensils, board games, and some small toys. Note that our yard is open and has some steep portions and steps, so please supervise children while outside. We have extra amenities including yoga mat and free weights: if there's anything else you need please ask! Pet policy: We're animal lovers, but to keep our cabin clean and allergy-free we do not allow pets.
