Canal Boat Cottage is located within the Brecon Beacons National Park on the banks of the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal. With wonderful views across the River Usk, Table Mountain & the Sugar Loaf. Crickhowell is within walking distance with its award wining high street & fabulous pubs & restaurants. Canal Boat Cottage is set in an ideal location for exploring the Brecon Beacons with fantastic walking & cycling from the front door or you can just relax & enjoy the views. The property is designed upside down to make the use of the fabulous views SLEEPS 2-4. Two bedrooms, one double (with White Company linen) one twin. Travel cot at no extra charge on request. Both with great views. BATHING. Large bathroom with double ended bath, walk in shower, twin basins, loo & towels EATING. Well equipped kitchen with farm house table & chairs. Electric oven & hob, microwave, dishwasher & washing machine. Welcome crate on arrival to include Apple juice, crisps & biscuits, butter, bread, milk & honey Can provide a Tripp Trapp high chair on request LOUNGE. Two large leather sofas, television, DVD player, i pod dock & wifi. Wood burner with first basket of logs included. All with great views. OUTSIDE. Pretty garden to the rear of the property with a bench table, bar b que & storage for bikes. PETS. Up to two well behaved dogs, no puppies under 12 months. JUST SO YOU KNOW. The property is attached to the owners residence, your privacy is respected at all times & the entrances are set well away from each other. We are available during your stay & can answer any questions you may have when we welcome you on your arrival With the Brecon & Monmouthshire Canal right on your doorstep, it is a great place for walking, cycling, canoeing & many other outdoor activities. Leisurely strolls can be taken to the village pubs or just over the river to Crickhowell with its award wining high street. Here there are pubs, restaurants, coffee shops & many independent shops. Further afield are the towns of Brecon, Abergavenny & Hay on Wye & the vibrant cities of Hereford, Cardiff & Bristol There is private parking for up to two cars directly outside the property. The nearest train station is in Abergavenny approximately 15 mins by car. Please note due to Covid I have removed some high touch items (toys etc) If you do need any of these items please let me know & I can provide them & then sanitise & quarantine them after use. From the beginning of March & ending at the end of October I will only take bookings starting & ending on a Monday or Friday due to cleaning commitments. If you bring a dog please do not leave it alone in the property, we also have chickens in the garden, they are not keen on being chased & are much loved pets, however used to dogs. Thank you
