Private Room with Sofabed/Futon

Loanhead is a small town located on the outskirts of Edinburgh. It is quiet, friendly, with parklands/countryside to the south and the city of Edinburgh to the north. This is a perfect spot for people who enjoy peace and quiet as opposed to the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a large commercial centre in town with plenty shops and amenities. It will take you around 10-15 minutes to walk there or you can take the bus. Buses to Edinburgh are frequent, running every 15 minutes. I am a friendly and relaxed 50 year old woman and enjoy interacting with people from other countries/cultures. You MUST like animals and have no allergies to them, as I have cats and dogs, although they won't be allowed in your room. Bed is double mattress on futon frame, pretty comfortable. Also be aware, that an animal hair or two may appear in your room, as I have a labrador dog and 3 cats, which are not allowed in the guest room, but their hairs do unfortunately creep in from time to time. Private room, living room, kitchen and bathroom. I work full-time so will only be available in the evenings/weekends. Happy to socialise within reason, but like my alone time too. Quiet, residential area with full amenities and 20-30 minutes from Edinburgh city centre by bus. Busses to Edinburgh every 15 minutes - bus stop about 2 minute's walk from accommodation. Note, I smoke in lounge and kitchen. Smoke does not permeate through house and definitely not into bedroom. If this bothers you at all, then don't book ;) If your stay is longer than 2 weeks I expect you to assist with household cleaning and purchases of supplies such as toilet rolls.
