Upper Cottage on a Winery Estate

The Upper Cottage at Hidden Creek Winery is located at the top of the property and overlooks the Upper Vineyard. It has two very comfortable bedrooms, kitchenette, indoor dining and wood burning heating stove. It is isolated and its attraction is serenity and solitude. The elevated location with a large front verandah has magnificent views. The verandah has tables, chairs, barbeque and adjacent fire pit and is marvellous for cooking and wine tasting. The Cottage is surrounded by vineyards and unspoilt bush. It is not connected to the electricity grid and runs on its own solar power along with stored rainwater. The fittings and details of the Cottage have emphasis on being eco-friendly The whole cottage except a locked store room is available for guests The Cottage has a manager who is located nearby and who will generally open up for a guest and is available if there is a problem Located at the top of the property in bushland, there are bush walks and obvious local birds and kangaroos readily visible. There is a sign posted walkway to the rock formation lookout at the top of the escarpment which was a bushranger vanatge point in bygone days. The walk down to the winery cafe is a lovely route through the bush. The cottage is located a short distance from the village of Ballandean, Girraween National Park and several well known wineries Breakfast includes some cereal, a loaf of bread, condiments, butter, juice and milk. If there is any dietary reequipments please let me know and I'm happy to accommodate. Coffee, sugar and tea is provided. The kitchenette consists of a gas 2 burner stove top, no oven, a microwave, toaster and a kettle that you boil on the stove top. There is a weber BBQ on the patio. The bathroom has a shower with shampoo and conditioner and shower gel provided, and hand soap and the sink, the toilet is in a separate room.
