Cooper Cabana - a cottage with breath-taking views

Cooper Cabana is situated on Clogger Lane, a section of the Pennine Way with spectacular views of the Yorkshire Dales. It sits on a hillside surrounded by open farmlands above Elslack village with breath-taking views across the moors. The stone-built cottage sits under a traditional York stone roof and has recently been fully renovated. The original features remain as a testimony of its long-time farmhouse life. The cottage is a self-contained annexe to the main house and has its own entrance. The entrance is equipped with a secure digital keycode. Downstairs, the heated porch is an ideal place for your walking/biking kits to dry or for your furry friend(s) to relax after a long walk on the moors. The cosy lounge with a log burner, TV, games, books is an ideal place for you to relax and chill. It is equipped with a sofa bed. A fully fitted kitchen with coffee machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, and all the essentials you need should you wish to cook! Upstairs, the cottage has king size bedroom with an ensuite bathroom (shower and bath) and magnificent views! Guests will be greeted with a welcome pack filled with yummy Yorkshire goodies perfect for breakfast and complimentary fresh crisp linen, fluffy towels and cosy bathrobes. A pamper hamper full of gorgeous products can be purchased for a very special treat. There is an outdoor kennel available which can also be used as storage for bikes. On a warm summer evening, enjoy the views with a BBQ and a nice cold beer in the private seating area. Private drive way for access to the cottage & private parking available for one car outside the cottage. If more than one car we request you advise before arrival to accommodate this. There is a private path leading to it and guests will be able to park near to unpack the car easily. The access code is detailed on the last page of the check-in instruction section. We live next door to Cooper Cabana should guests need anything. We would love to socialise with our guests but we appreciate the calm and quiet of this property might be all guests are looking for. We just wish to make everyone's stay bespoke and tailored. The Tempest Arms, a 17th Century dog-friendly Inn only 1 mile away from Cooper Cabana is worth a visit. There is a small grocery store in the centre of the village of Carleton, only a 10 minutes drive away. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the lane which is about 1 mile away with connections to both Yorkshire and Lancashire. A public footpath goes through the field behind our house which then connects to the Pennine Way should you wish to arrive by foot. One night stay may be possible upon request and depending on availabilities.
