Located in Horsham on the outskirts of town, situated on 10 acres, this is your home away from home. Cute and cosy, pet and child friendly, Helen's place is a handy spot to stay while you explore the Grampians, Mt Arapiles, the Wimmera River or the Silo Art Trail or on your journey between capital cities. Please advise upon booking whether you are planning on bringing your pet along for your stay. Lovely three-bedroom house that really feels like a home. The property is spacious, adjoining onto three separate paddocks. An easy-to-access home, with ample parking and a 2km walk into the centre of town. If the oranges and lemons are in season, you are more than welcome to help yourself. The house has air-conditioning and two different heating sources: a wood fire and a split system. Lounge around on the beautiful big couches, sit out on the verandah and enjoy the fresh air, or head down for walk along the Wimmera river just under a km away. The master bedroom contains a queen-sized bed, the second bedroom has a double bed, and the third bedroom is a bunk bed inclusive of a double bed and a single. All bedrooms have ample hanging space to really help you feel at home. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery and cookware for all your cooking needs. A flatscreen TV, DVDs, books and board games are in the lounge for your enjoyment. Please note, there is no wifi at the property. Towels and linen, shampoo, conditioner and soaps included. Supplied firewood for those chilly winter nights. Pets are welcome – well-behaved pets allowed inside, but not on the furniture. Outside, being a rural property, please note there are rural fences and we would recommend keeping your pets leashed outside if they are likely to wander. We do have a 4x6 meter fully-fenced dog yard and a comfortable kennel if your doggo cannot be trusted indoors on their own... The highway is not often busy, except for holidays and local events. The freight trains come past a few times a day.
