Our home offers separate private guest accommodation in the downstairs of our house, with separate access for guests' convenience. Thames is well situated for travelers exploring the scenic Coromandel Peninsula, the Kauaeranga Valley and other attractions within the area. Easy access to walking tracks and the Hauraki Rail Trail. Beaches are within an easy drive. The Brook is located in a quiet street. We offer comfortable surroundings for people to relax and enjoy. The airbnb guest suite is spacious, tastefully decorated with separate bedroom, a comfortable queen size bed and quality bedding, electric blanket, spacious closet with shelves and coat hangers.. Please be aware the nightly rate gives you the Queen bed in the Bedroom only fo (Website hidden by Airbnb) people, if you require separate sleeping arrangements there will be no extra charge for the extra single bed. In the living room there is space for one or two extra guests. There are 2 x single trundler beds available at an additional cost of $20 per night per person. The bathroom /toilet is fully tiled with a good size walk-in shower and heat lamps. There is a large lounge/dining area with limited cooking facilities. However, there is a microwave, electric kettle, toaster and small fridge. Tea, coffee, milk, cutlery, crockery, glassware and sink are provided. A BBQ is available for guests use.. Off the main living area there is seating under the pergola to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening, in a peaceful garden setting. So relax and listen to the birdsong from the native bird life that visit our garden seasonally. Browse at the popular Saturday morning market or enjoy a coffee in one of the many cafes. Guest parking is off road and adjacent to guest entrance. Use of hosts laundry and clothes line is available by arrangement. A $ 5.00 fee applies for use of washing machine. We value our guests' privacy but are available to chat and share information if required. We live in an older established friendly neighbourhood. Close to all amenities. There is a local connector bus that travels around the Thames district at a cost of $2.00. The local bus is accessible at the end of our street. The intercity bus is available at the Information Centre approx. 10 mins. walk away. There are two steps at the guest entrance.
