The Cottage at Camp David Farm

The Cottage, located on the property of Camp David Farm in stunning Spring Hill is conveniently located in the middle of some of the best towns that victoria has to offer... Trentham, Woodend, Kyneton, Daylesford and Malmsbury are all within 20min from The Cottage. Stroll down Piper St in Kyneton for a spot of shopping or a lazy lunch at one of the many fabulous cafes or restaurants. Perhaps a round of golf at the picturesque Trentham Golf Course. Or Daylesford Market is always a winner! The Cottage has 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, meals area and lounge with wood heater and a full kitchen with electric oven and cooktop, full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. An additional lounge area is upstairs in the loft and has a queen size sofa bed with comfortable memory foam mattress and balcony that has views across the property. The main bedroom has a king size bed with ensuite and walk in robe. The other main bedroom has a king size bed that can be split into 2 large single beds. This room has access to the main bathroom through the laundry and a private doorway onto the outdoor area. The 2 additional rooms both have 2 king single beds. The gardens at Camp David Farm are available for guests to access at a pre-arranged time which will be limited to 1 hour. The Cottage is perfect! Plenty of boutique wineries are just a stones throw from The Cottage and the Coliban River offers seasonal trout fishing. Silver Brumby trail rides is 500m down the road for a unique trail riding experience through the local bushland. There is no public transportation in Spring Hill and the Kyneton Taxi service runs a limited service to the area. We recommend that guest provide their own transport. Camp David is a 100 acre working farm and guests are advised that there are several dams with water located on the farm. Cows, sheep and alpacas are all residents on the farm and guests are asked to be mindfull of this especially if children are staying at the cottage. Guests are not permitted to access and paddocks without direct permission from the owner of the property. The cottage runs off rainwater tanks and any loss of power in the area will prevent water pumps from working. Bottled water and battery lanterns will be available during a power outage.
