Princes Risborough, 3 Double Bedrooms, Big Garden

This is our lovely end-terraced Edwardian house where you can enjoy country walks in the Chilterns, go for bike rides, or have a BBQ in the beautiful garden. The house is just a short walk from the train station in the medieval market town of Princes Risborough. We have private parking for one car and bicycles are available for the guests to use. The house is ideal for max 4 grown-ups, your pet can be brought on request. The house is only 500 m from the train station, with direct connection to several cities including London (appr 40 minutes). The centre of the village is appr 900 m from the house and has a great selection of grocery stores, cosy cafes, traditional pubs, highly rated restaurants and a lovely wine bar. Every Thursday there is a local market. The very popular local pub, The Bird in Hand, is only 150 meters from the house. At the house you will find guides to both lovely country walks and excellent country pubs. The most popular walks are the Phoenix Trail and the Ridgeway National Trail. Even though you would manage very well without having a car, there is private parking space for a car. The parking is a bit narrow with recommended car max width of 2 meters. There are unlimited street parking during weekends, but with some restrictions during the week. We are a Norwegian/English family and have decorated the house in a mix of traditional English and Scandinavian style. The house is an excellent base for visiting other popular villages such as Marlow, Henley, Wendover and Thame - along with the larger towns of Oxford and London. The popular designer shopping outlet in Bicester village is only two train stops away. Some of our guests have also used the house as a base for visiting Harry Potter Land and Legoland. This part of the country is renowned for its range of national Trust properties including Waddesdon Manor. The country house of the prime minister, the Chequers, is also in the area. There is a modern sport center with swimming pools, training equipments and a big outdoor play area within a short walking distance. The house includes everything you would need for a comfortable and homely stay, including wifi, Netflix and Freesat channels. It is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, hair dryer, iron, ironing board coffee machines and a good selection of coffee and teas. All basic cooking essentials are available for your use. There are three double bedrooms with king size beds, and one of the bedrooms has a TV and a desk for home office. There is a big family bathroom on 1st floor and an additional toilet on the ground floor. We have have a big terraced area and plenty of garden furniture to enjoy sunny days outside. A charcoal BBQ is also available for your use. The guests have the whole house and the garden on their own. At the moment we only offer self-service check-in. We will send you the check-in details on the day before your arrival date. Walking distance to the center of the town with a good selection of restaurants, pubs and bars. Excellent walking and biking opportunities in the country side starts just outside the house. Bicycles available for the guests. Only a couple of minutes walking distance to bus or train stop, where you can easily get to London, Bicester Village, Birmingham, Oxford, High Wycombe, Aylesbury etc. This is our home, we love it and care for it.
