Cornerstone - Studio

Artist's studio is part of a shared house, with a private entrance and french doors that open onto a large veranda and garden. Your bedroom is accessed from outside of the existing tropical styled house and so is your own bathroom, which is nearby. You will have access to a kitchen, laundry and sitting area that is shared with at the most three other guests. We have a separate living area. You will find that there are plenty of outside areas to sit in, to enjoy our lovely tropical garden. If you need to cool off we have a small swimmimg pool and we are a bike ride away from an amazing public pool on the beautiful Nightcliff foreshore. We have bikes to lend out. The two lovely dogs, will probably greet you as you arrive and we apologise in advance about our friendly cat. All our animals have been brought up to live outside, except our cat who stays in our sitting area at night. This room is air conditioned for your comfort with wifi to keep you connected with the outside world. This is a tropical house with louver windows and a fan in each room. Close to Rapid Creek market, great organic food store, casuarina beach and mall, cafes, buses routes to the city, university and airport. The city is a 30 minute bus ride, 15 minute drive or a $30 cab fare. There is a working artist in the property and the rooms are filled with her and other known artists work. You will have independent access to your room and your own bathroom from the house This bedroom and bathroom is just off the entrance area under the cover of a carport. You will also have access to a shared kitchen, laundry, pool, bicycles and many sitting areas with at the most three other guests, probably a couple. It goes without saying nowadays, you will have access to Wifi. The house itself is close to Rapid Creek market, great organic food store, casuarina beach and mall, cafes, buses routes to the city, university and airport. We are very friendly people who like to suggest great places to visit. Always keen to chat over a cup of tea, but we also respect that you might be here for study or to get away from others. I love riding my bike along the water front, walking the dogs on the beach and taking a stroll to the Rapid Creek market on the weekend. You will find us a $15 Taxi ride from the airport. There are two bus routes a block from here, where you would catch a bus into town. Locally, we are very close to the beautiful Casuarina beach, Nightcliff foreshore and local cafés. We have bikes you can borrow or you could walk. There is a working artist in the property and the rooms are filled with her and other known artists work.
