The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is located at Glenaroua in Central Victoria. We offer a comfortable 3 bedroom farmhouse that can sleep up to 6 guests. We are located on a working farm with sheep & cattle and guests can walk the property anytime, enjoying the beautiful rolling hills and creeks that run through it. The bedrooms consist of the main with a queen bed, ensuite and walk in wardrobe. The second room has a queen bed with the 3rd offering 2 singles. All beds have electric blankets. Porta cot and high chair available on request. There is a 2nd bathroom and 3rd outdoor toilet. We offer ducted heating & cooling throughout, 2 TV's & DVD player, washing machine & dryer, desk space, also WI-FI & Netflix available. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining room plus lounge room. Please note, house is not suitable for wheelchair access (stairs). Any problems, we live close by and can be there in a few minutes. Self check in with key safe at back door. Exact location will be provided after booking. We are a working sheep and cattle farm on 4000 acres, which you are welcome to walk the hills and explore at your leisure. Please be aware that there are dams on the property and a seasonal creek at the back of the house, if you are bringing children. We are located 20mins from Seymour and Puckapunyal, 30mins from Heathcote & Nagambie and 15 mins from Tallarook, Broadford and Tooborac. Located in these areas, you will find some great wineries & eateries and markets & events throughout the year. The Great Victorian Rail Trail starts at Tallarook to Mansfield, in Seymour you can explore the Vietnam Veterans Commemorative Walk, the State Motorcycle Complex is located at Broadford or you can enjoy a great hike and views from the top of Mt Piper or why not explore the Military history and the Go-Cart track at Puckapunyal. Please note: the tariff listed covers 1 to 2 guests per night. Extra guests are welcome (up to maximum of 6) at the additional price listed.
