Beach Apartment located close to Colombo

You are warmly welcome ! We are happy to host you for your stay in our beautiful island ! We have lived in Europe for the past 30 years yet originate from Sri lanka. We can assure you of the "EUROPEAN STANDARD" in our apartment which has been fully renovated in 2017 (New pictures will be uploaded). We live just 5 minutes away and are always available for your needs, wishes and concerns. We are happy to help you with sightseeing and tips on what you have to discover during your trip OVERVIEW The apartment is situated in Palliyawatta, a town which is located 30 minutes from the heart of Colombo and 2 minutes from the beach. An Uber costs around 4 Euros to the hussle and bussle of the city. The super market 'Food city' is located a stone throw away. Around the area we have a number of beach resorts which allow guests to use their beach,pool and gym facilities for a small fee. THE APARTMENT The apartment was fully renovated in 2017 and we already had our first very happy guests from Italy and England. HALL The hall is big and spacious with an dining table, chairs. BEDROOM Up the stairs we have the big bedroom with a balcony. The bedroom has one King size bed and extra bedding can be provided if needed. A dressing table, 2 wardrobes , writing desk and TV are all available. Of course the bedroom is fitted with an air conditioning system and mosquito nets. We can assure you of almost no mosquitos yet mosquito coils are also available. All the bedding as well as towels sheets etc are all provided by us. The apartment is located in a quiet area where you can have a peaceful and sound sleep. Adjoining the bedroom is a small sitting area to enjoy the evening. BATHROOM The bathroom has a sink, toilet and the shower which has all been renovated in 2017. The bathroom is also spacious and has a flooring with tiles. A hairdryer is also available. Soap, Shampoo are also all available. KITCHEN The kitchen has all the equipment you need. Toaster, Microwave, stove, cooking equipments, dishes and cups. A refrigerator is also available. The apartment has a yard with coconut trees. This area can be used and many of our guests have enjoyed to have their evening drink in the yard and to enjoy the last rays of sunlight in the evening. Opposite to the apartment within the complex lives my brother and his family. He is a Businessman and well spoken in English. Therefore you need not to have any worries that you are all alone or have any safety concerns. We also have a scooter available which can be rented out for a small fee. Scooter riding in Sri lanka is safe. We live just 5 minutes away from the apartment so we are available at any time. We are more than happy to help you book your sightseeing tours, your transport and any other needs. The apartment is situated in a quiet residential area which is only 500 meters away from the beach. Local beach resorts allow guests to use their beaches and facilities for a small fee. The main heart of the city is located only 30 minutes away which costs about 4 Euros by Uber. Elekanda a town 5 minutes away has a European Supermarket 'FOOD CITY' and local restaurants and bars. Our family has lived in the area for more than 50 years and are well known. The easiest way to get around is by Uber which is also very cheap and safe. Three wheelers are also available almost 24 hours for those who really want to travel as a local. A scooter is also available for a small fee which is also a safe form of travel in Sri lanka. We are available for any help with transport or any other wishes you have
