Our luxurious themed bedrooms “LOVE” “BLING” and “DREAM”are freshly painted and have brand new carpet and plantation shutters.The queen beds are fitted with the highest quality (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) thread count“Bas Philips”linen. All three bedrooms are lovely and large with ceiling fans to all. The two upstairs have cathedral ceilings and both are individually air conditioned. In every bedroom enjoy a pillow menu ,spa bath robes,complimentary slippers and a guest wardrobe with hangers,shelves and drawers. The kitchen has all the creature comforts of home plus more….fresh fruit juicer,slow cooker,pie maker,egg poacher,air fryer etc. The full size fridge has an ice maker and water dispenser. There is also a bar fridge in the spa room to access your cold drinks to top up whilst enjoying the heated bubbles…..or add ice to the bar table beside the spa and don’t move at all. The L shaped lounge in the main lounge room has 2 recliners to lay back and enjoy a movie. All 3 TVs have a fire stick remote to enjoy an abundance of extra APP channels and movies as well as Foxtel and Netflix and Prime video for a bombardment of shows and movies to watch….IFFFF you can drag yourself away from the pools , restaurant/bar and outdoor fun. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer. Both bathrooms have sophisticated features and rainmaker shower heads. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails and tastic heating. We have Multiple USB outlets for charging devices. All linen and towels are supplied Beach/Spa towels and tennis rackets and balls are required by guests. The spa is heated to an inviting 38 degrees but can be adjusted to choice.Enjoy watching a movie or your favourite sport on Fox sipping on a glass of a complimentary bottle of bubbles 🥂 or beers🍺 whilst relaxing in the spa. Serendipity is located in a quiet and tranquil part of the resort and only a short level walk to all pools, tennis courts (you will need the electronic swipe card supplied to access these 2 facilities)and restaurants.We supply umbrellas in the downstairs guest wardrobe to walk around the resort if you get a rainy day. PLEASE NOTE there is no garage available for guest use however there is parking in front of the double garage and the visitor park directly out the front and a double visitor park opposite. Serendipity is self checkin via security entry code but we are available by phone should a problem arise .The entry is very straight forward and all details and code will be text prior to your stay,this is also the number to contact if need be. Raffertys Resort is simply stunning. The 38 acre property is on the waterfront of Lake Macquarie and 5 minutes to the beach. Enjoy 4 oasis style pools (one indoor heated) access to these is by electronic swipe cards. 4 tennis courts plus all the water sport you can handle. Bring your bikes or walk and explore the magnificent grounds and surrounds with rolling hillsides to picnic on and soak up the water views. Bring your boat and fishing rod….launch it at our boat ramp 150 metres from our home. Hire a kayak or charter a boat…Be a daredevil and book a seat on the thrill ride jet boat…..Jetbuzz is our on-site boat hire outlet that has all the water sports equipment plus bait and sun safe basics and ice creams. Explore the Arboretum that runs through the middle of Raffertys and have a bbq (one of many sprinkled throughout the resort)under the canopy of trees.A bush turkey or 3 may pay you a visit along with all the beautiful bird life living in there. Enjoy a massage at Serendipity by the mobile therapist Carl,just a phone call away ....TREAT YOURSELF (see pictures for his details) Supermarkets and patrolled beaches are 10 minutes away. 1.5 hours north of Sydney and 40 minutes south of Newcastle but a cheap Uber ride to anywhere. Visit the historic Catherine Hill Bay and its famous pub,a 5 minute drive away.The Swansea RSL has a magnificent location on the lakes entrance to watch the bridge opening,enjoy a delicious meal overlooking the water or head to Caves Beach and grab a burger. Toooooo many choices. Swansea channel and grocery shops are a 10 minute drive away. A 40 minute drive to will take you into beautiful Newcastle and all its glorious beaches and cafes. Head 45 minutes south to the stunning Central Coast and the picturesque Brisbane Waters and beaches. The magnificent Hunter Valley with many vineyards is 1 hour away.Make sure you visit the historic Morpeth on the way. Local restaurants deliver to Raffertys. Ubers are a great cheap option for those wanting to head into town if you prefer not to drive. Bring your bike or hire one from JETBUZZ here at (Website hidden by Airbnb) many bike tracks to follow around our lake ,the most popular being from Speers Point through Warners Bay(a great spot to stop for lunch) and on to Booragul.
