Willow View character cottage in conservation area

Willow View - A period cottage in a lovely conservation area village just north of Bristol. This newly refurbished annexe is perfect for those visiting "The Wave", wanting to cycle on the numerous quiet country roads or simply walk to one of the many excellent village pubs that can be accessed via great countryside walks. 2 minute drive from Old Down Country park, 30 minute drive to Bristol city centre and Forest of Dean. Nearest pub is just across the road plus others within a short walk. Set in a lovely garden with parking, cross the private patio and enter through bi-fold doors in to spacious light filled large lounge / diner with log burner, there is a small kitchenette with microwave, single ring hob, fridge, kettle and toaster and everything you need for a short stay. The 3 seater sofa is perfectly positioned for relaxing by the log burner, watching TV or listening to the radio. A staircase leads you up to a very light large bedroom with Kingsize bed with en-suite shower room and loo (please note there is only cold water for the basin). A child's bed (suitable for up to age 8) available on request. Outside there is a small patio area exclusive to the annexe overlooking a small paddock home to Willow the friendly goat! Please note this area is not fenced off and there is a pond in the main house garden. There is parking at the property for one car, please let us know if you need more space and we can let you know options. Tockington is a small village in South Gloucestershire just north of Bristol, the Swan inn is a 2 minute walk from Willow View, a ten minute walk brings you to Olveston which has a bakery, village shop and pub. "The Wave" inland surf lake and Wildplace are a 10 minute drive. Further afield Bristol City Centre is a 25 minute drive and the Forest of Dean and Slimbridge are only a 30 minute drive too. The Mall shopping centre is a 15 minute drive. Old Down Country Park and Manor house is a 15 minute walk, Willow View is perfect if you are attending a wedding there. The neighbouring village of Olveston is on the National Cycle Route 41, the area very popular with Cyclists with many pretty villages to potter through or head across the Severn Bridge to find some challenging hills. There are many footpaths around the area many leading to great pubs and cafes.
