#2 Wild, Woods & Water/1 Mile Off Exit 41, I-94

SPECIAL SET-UP DURING COVID-19 CRISIS: For your safety and ours, this room/space will be sealed off from the main part of the house. You will have a bedroom & private bathroom, private hallway & private entrance. We have thoroughly cleaned & sanitized the space, and blocked the heat/cool supply & return registers to eliminate air exchange between us. Your room includes a king bed, desk, sofa, space heater, A/C, floor fan, mini-fridge, coffee maker, air fryer, and microwave. UPDATE: There are 2 separate bedrooms in this newly separated area, side by side. (See description) You may reserve 1 or both bedrooms. For your safety, if you choose to reserve only one of the rooms, we will not take reservations from other inquiries for the second room, unless you are the one requesting it. You will have access to the deck looking out to the back yard. You have to experience what I call "bird paradise" while sitting on the patio swing in the morning. Amazing sights and sounds! I would love to help out any way I can while you are here! Just let me know if there is anything you need. Otherwise I’ll leave you alone and may not be here much while you’re here. I am always available through the site or by texting/calling my mobile phone. Information about the area and its amenities is also available for the asking. There are complimentary maps in the guest room and local attraction brochures which will help you get around and discover fun things to do. The street is only about 1/3 mile long with no cross streets. Because there are only 6 homes on my road, there is very little traffic passing by. Very serene and beautiful outdoor space with lots of birds singing, wild turkeys, and many deer. The closest hospital is 2-1/2 miles away. Local businesses include restaurants, an upscale resale shop, hair salons, a florist, a tanning salon, a brewery, an outdoor living, flower & plant store, and a discount grocery store. Full grocery store is about 4.5 miles away. Many local wineries and breweries to visit for those who are interested. A few chocolate shops in the area are a great stop for tasting and/or indulging! Kayak and canoe rentals are available just a few miles away for a quiet and fun ride down the Paw Paw River. I have 2 kayaks for rent here. Four Winds Casino is just 4 miles away if you would like to try your luck at winning some cash! Paw Paw Lake is 3-4 miles away, and Lake Michigan is just a bit farther. My home is about 1 mile from exit 41 off I-94 which will get you to St. Joseph (west) in 15 minutes, and to Kalamazoo (east) in about 40 minutes. South Haven is 15 minutes north on M-140. There is no public transportation except for Uber, Lyft, etc.
