Newly built 2 bedroom suite, 2 bath - For those who love to cook, the house has a beautiful new kitchen with over sized island, counter stools and dining area. The living room is open and bright and perfect for reading or watching the sunset. The two bedroom suites one upstairs, one at garden level, both have queen beds, sitting areas and TV's. The upstairs bedroom is open layout with a walk in shower, walk-in closet, and washer / drier. The garden suite also has queen bed, sitting room, and big walk in shower. On the first floor off of the kitchen is a private office that can be used as an additional bedroom with a provided queen size aero mattress. The lower level has an exercise room (Treadmill, Elliptical & Bow Flex Machine). The side yard, back yard with walk out patio, side deck with grill, and lower patio area all have a great feel, and comfortable lounge furniture for relaxing and grilling after the long day. The Kitchen is stocked with I think every tool you would need. Music sound system through out the house and outside that can be played through your personal phone. Wireless internet. As much as they want - I'm available by text to answer any questions and make travel recommendations. Seapoint Beach 1 mile and Fort Foster 2 miles away. York beach is a short 10 minute drive as are the beaches in Rye and Newcastle, NH are also very close. The Forts are a great way to take in a little history and enjoy the spectacular ocean frontage. When you return from the beach you have lots of dining choices The Chauncey Creek Lobster Pier is less then a mile - Great outdoor deck eating voted "best of" by Costal Magazine. 5 min drive you have - The Black Birch Restaurant was just named best restaurant in Maine and has a really cool outdoor patio. Casual and hip, with great spins on traditional fare - Yum. If Indian food is your thing, Tulsi will be your new addiction. Stop by Anneka Jans open air bistro on the way home for a night cap. If you make it to all of these places and desire more, bustling downtown Portsmouth is only a 10 minute skip over the bridge. There you will find more waterfront dining and shopping. You have LOTS of shoping options - for dinner The Golden Harvest Produce Market, Carl's Meat Market, Terra Cotta Pasta and The Beach Pea Baking Company all within a 10 min drive Or, sit outside and enjoy a slice of pizza at AJ's wood fired pizza. Oh, and don't forget to check out what's going on at Prescott Park in the evening. They have concerts, plays and movies. Bring a blanket and picnic and enjoy a show under the stars! If your in the mood for a drive, head up to Ogunquit and visit the Ogunquit Museum of American Art. It's location is as lovely as it's contents. If you keep driving along Shore Road, you will end up at Perkins Cove in Ogunquit where you can walk the marginal way along the ocean cliffs. You will need your own car to maximize your stay and ability to really see the area. Our home is perfectly centered between Portsmouth NH and York Me, near Wells and Ogunquit to provide lots of day trip opportunities. Boston is an hour away (depending on traffic) and Portland is 45 min away.
