This large stylish room with bathroom ensuite, is a perfect place to explore the Lake District , there are footpaths and cycle routes on the doorstep which can take you further into the Lake District or a hop over the hill into the beautiful Kentmere Valley . You will have a warm welcome from us, and our 2 labradoodles and 3 cats . Off road parking , secure bike storage , mountain bikes for hire. If booked check https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/31919164 Our standard double bed is 4 feet 6 inches wide and 6 feet 3 inches long (137 x 190 cm). The room has a private bathroom. You have your own door for access. The shower in the room is a hand shower within a bath. The bedding and towels are of a high standard 100% white cotton. Shampoo , bubble bath and soap provided . You have your own door access to the sun room. From here it is up the stairs to your room with your own private bathroom. The sunroom is shared space. Please note there is no access to the kitchen of the house. We are quite often in when guests arrive , but have a key safe in place for when we are out . We are always happy to have a chat and give you some local information and tips . The house lies just off the A591 in the small village of Ings . 2 miles from Lake Windermere . The surrounding countryside offers endless peaceful walks and there are many cycle routes to take you further into the Lakes or just a hop over the hill takes you into the beautiful Kentmere valley . There is an award winning pub, The Watermill ,in the village with its own brewery . Across the road is Ambio cafe , great for breakfast . Or a short drive into the village of Staveley where you will find artisan bakers and coffee shops and a great bike shop . The beauty of living in Ings for me is that you have all the delights of the Lake District without the crowds . Bus Information The main bus route runs past the house approximately every half an hour. We have two Mountain Bikes for Hire. The bikes are £25 each for the day. We will provide a helmet and small rucksack with pump, lock and spare tube. Steve is an open water swim guide. If you fancy a dip in a tarn or lake we can organise it for £50 per person. We also have stand up paddles boards and wetsuits for hire
