Great views over a large lake where you can feed the swans and ducks. The spacious lounge has a pool table, table tennis table, table football and toy selection for younger kids. A family house with 2 dishwashers, 3 ovens, 2 large TVs and 14 seater dining table. The property is connected to a shared 1 acre garden (as seen on TV program Gardeners World). It is for the exclusive use of my 3 Airbnb properties. There is a tree house, pagoda and lots of space to enjoy for picnics, BBQs and games. The house has a 30m shoreline with a large lake. Its a wonderful location for outdoor dining or a bbq. Most rooms have a wonderful view. Modern family home which is well furnished and very comfortable. All bed linen and towells are provided. The kitchen contains everything you need for cooking and entertaining. There is lots of space and a large dining table. Great for families as there are toys, crib and a hi chair. 3 spaces for off street parking. Large private garden. You have exclusive use of the house and it's garden during your stay. You also have access to a private 1 acre shared garden: - Featured on TV program 'Gardeners World' - Lots of private areas with ponds, streams and a large lake. - Use the the decking area with seating for over 12. - Picnic table for up to 8 - Large Pagoda with seating - Tree house - Feel free to picnic or play games. - Feed the wild birds on the lake, which include: ducks, coots, geese, moorhens, swans and a heron. - Space is shared between my 3 Airbnb properties so please be respectful of others. A barbecue is available to rent for £30 (includes charcoal, utensils, cleaning, etc) You can check yourself in at your convenience by using the keybox (code is in house manual). You will be greeted by a welcome pack, welcome guide and a treasure hunt (for the more adventurous souls!). Marie (housekeeper) may pop in to say hello and answer any questions you have. Her number is in the house manual and welcome pack if you have any problems (she lives a few doors away). You can also contact William at any time via the airbnb app. We hope you have a wonderful stay. The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the Manchester suburb of Walkden. There is a convenience store/coffee shop at the end of the road. A spacious mall with many shops and restaurants (including a very large 24 hour Tesco supermarket) is 10 minutes walk or 2 min in a car. Walkden is well situated for transport links. It is 5 minutes from M60 motorway ring road (junction 13), and it's a 10 minute walk to Walkden station (20 minutes away from Manchester city centre). Blackleach country park is a large nearby park about (5 mins drive). 'Worsley Old Hall' is a very prestigious and traditional 16th century English pub and restaurant 5 mins drive (think cozy rooms, wood panelling and huge fireplaces) - highly recommended. The Trafford centre is about 15 mins drive and is one of the biggest malls in the country with many shops and activities (including a large cinema, food court and creche). Nearby is an indoor ski slope, crazy golf, indoor sky diving, various kids play centres, bounce nation, and much more! The Imperial War Museum is 15 min drive and a fun/educational day out. The Lowry is 20 min drive and includes a gallery, cinema, shopping mall and is located in the vibrant, newly developed Salford Quays area (with amazing water views). Walkden is well situated for transport links. It is 5 minutes from M60 motorway ring road (junction 13), which links to lots of motorways including M62 and M6. The house is a 10 minute walk away from Walkden station (20 minute train ride to Manchester city centre) with trains every hour (every half hour in the morning). (This treasure hunt has proved very popular with kids but please ensure they are supervised as there are hazards like streams and ponds).
