La Chambre des Prairies à L'Autre Ferme - Ecolieu

L’Autre Ferme (The Other Farm) is a sanctuary for animals rescued from industrial livestock farms. It is currently home to 30 Ouessant sheep, 10 chickens, 3 calves and seven rabbits. It is also a plant-based Bed & Breakfast. We offer three comfortable bedrooms, located in the main building, in the middle of the sanctuary. The three bedrooms are located on the second floor of a recently renovated 17th century building. Their cozy minimalism is conducive to relaxation and reflection. The rooms are well separated from each other, with no one above nor below. They are equipped with brand-new, eco-friendly, Made in France bedding, linen sheets and vintage furniture. A spacious bathroom situated on the first floor is shared by the guests. It offers an Italian shower and individual closets. There are two separate toilets, one on the ground floor and one upstairs. Our homemade breakfast is 100% plant-based. It is self-service, so that you can sleep in, or wake up at dawn to enjoy the sunrise! A generous open kitchen and living room host a farmhouse table, comfortable armchairs and ... a tuned 1883 Pleyel piano. Our table d'hôtes (meals upon request) is available with a 24h minimum reservation. We use local, organic and seasonal products as much as possible. Guests are not allowed to use the kitchen, except to reheat baby food. Complimentary tea, herbal tea, filtered water and coffee are available. You need a car to visit us ! A large young dog and a cat live in the house. Make sure you are comfortable with it ! Our homemade meals are 100% plant-based. We use local, organic and seasonal products as much as possible. We are proud of our newly planted vegetable garden, farmed in permaculture. Please make a reservation. Prix fixe, per person, beverages excluded: 22 € for a three-course dinner - for children under 10: 12€. Beverages (juice, beer, wine) are extra. Alcohol is limited to 2 glasses of wine or 2 beer bottles per person.
