The village has three grocery stores, several family bars and restaurants, and several walkways designed for enjoying the beautiful Tuscan scenery including a delightful path along the town's ancient wall. The village is ten minutes from the main Siena-Florence highway, close to picturesque San Gimignano, Siena, Florence, Voltera, and Chianti; the famous wine making areas of Montalcino and Montepulciano, and Pienza and Cortona, are approximately one hour by car making Casole d'Elsa an excellent location from which to make day trips. The entire apartment and garden is for guest use. Owners live off site. There is a property manager that will contact you before arrival and meets you with key and orients you to the area. He is nearby if guests need anything or have questions while visiting. Casole d'Elsa is a vibrant Tuscan hilltop village. Small but with all essential amenities, shops and restaurants. It is best to have a car in the countryside. Parking is free and easy. There is some limited public transportation. We will rent the apartment for stays shorter than 7 days.
