The town offers wonderful views of the islands of Arran and Cumbrae, superb countryside and a variety of sports, including golf and sailing. It is located on the sheltered west coast of Scotland and is roughly 25 miles (40 km) south-west of Glasgow International Airport, and 21 miles (34 km) north of Glasgow (Prestwick) Airport which is served by Ryanair. A good selection of restaurants, bars and shops are within walking distance to the house which is situated at the South end of Largs. Cumbrae View House is on the Largs Local Bus route which provides a local servjce within the town. It is around 1 mile away from Largs Train Station, and within 5 minutes walk of the main bus services which travel the coastal route between Greenock - Largs - Ardrossan.
