Locanda Filomena is right in the heart of the ancient village of Palanzo (fraction of Faggeto Lario), 600msl, nearby the famous wine press. Two paths collect Palanzo to the lake (30 min. walk!). Great place for hiking and enjoying pleanty of time surrounded by nature admiring spectacular landscapes. You can reach Como city in only 25 min by car and Bellagio in 40 minutes. You' ll find B&B Casa Filomena right in the heart of the ancient village, 600msl, nearby the famous wine press (XVI century). There are 2 bedrooms: one with a double bed, and the other one is a small suite fine for a family or a group of friends with two double beds and also a resting area with a sofa. The bathroom is at the ground floor and serves the two rooms, it is very comfortable and has a large shower. Breakfast is served in a big lounge, once one of the numerous taverns of the village, and it is typically italian, with genuine and healthy products, a moment of delight! The lounge is also a resting area, a place where you can pass your time reading, listening to music, and else more. Palanzo is an ancient small village, fraction of Faggeto Lario at 600 msl, happily exposed to the sun. The heart of the village is very ancient, celtyc origins, and you can have fun getting lost in the lanes. Many paths collect Palanzo to the lake (20 min. walk!) and to the mountains and trekkers can enjoy pleanty of time surrounded by nature admiring spectacular landscapes.
