The property originally housed the pumps that supplied the water uphill to the town of Broseley and some of the original pipework and valves have become a focal point in the conversion. The Ironbridge Gorge is known for being the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and has a collection of no fewer than 10 industrial and Victorian themed museums (such as the Blists Hill Victorian village) that make up the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust. Alongside the history of the industrial revolution Ironbridge is also a bustling tourist town and has many pubs, restaurants, shops and tea rooms. Broseley Just a short walk from the property is the Market town of Broseley, The town has many shops from where you can stock up on supplies including its own butchers, bakers and local convenience stores. there are also many pubs restaurants and local attractions. Easily in reach by bus and car are the popular towns of Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Much Wenlock.
