Fosse Farmhouse - The Pink Bedroom

The Pink room is our most popular B&B room. The room has two single beds which can be linked together to create a king size double bed.We can also provide a bed for a child in this room. The ensuite bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. The 18th Century Cotswold stone farmhouse is furnished throughout with a fascinating collection of French brocante, English chintz and antique textiles. There are two B&B bedrooms in the property and three self catering holiday cottages in the grounds. We have introduced social distancing and no contact check in to keep our customers safe. There is hand sanitiser at the entrance and we are part of the 'Good to Go' Visit England scheme. For breakfast we can deliver a tray to your bedroom door or invite you to have breakfast in the garden at an agreed time. Please do let us know what would suit you best. Children and babies welcome.... and well behaved dogs too. The Pink Room is a large bedroom that can be prepared as a twin bedroom with two single beds or a king sized bed with one 6ft double bed. There is an en-suite bathroom. If required a child's cot is also available on request. There is a large garden and orchard surrounding the farmhouse. During the summer months Cream Teas with home baked scones and plum jam are served under the apple trees.There is a footpath leading from the front door to the beautiful Cotswolds village of Castle Combe. The garden is shared with other guests therefore during COVID19 we do encourage social distancing the regular washing of hands and the use of hand sanitiser. Myself and my housekeeping staff will wear face masks during all interaction with guests. We have introduced contact free check in and there is a (Hidden by Airbnb) QR code in each room to contact me directly for anything that you may need during your stay.We will not now be servicing your room during your stay however if you would like fresh towels,bottled water or anything else just leave them outside your door before you go out and they will be replaced. Breakfast will be delivered to your bedroom door or served in the garden. Castle Combe one of the most beautiful villages in the Cotswolds is a 20 minute stroll from the Farmhouse. Bath which is famous for the Hot Mineral Springs is just a short drive away. Bristol - one of the most exciting cities in England is a 30 minute drive. Stonehenge 45 minutes and Salisbury one hour. Public transport is limited.There is a good train service from London to Chippenham that runs every hour and takes 90 minutes. From Chippenham station take a taxi to the farmhouse from the rank outside. There is also a village bus service - number 35 that runs from the station to Castle Combe but it is infrequent. A hire car is best for discovering all the lovely villages in the area. We will welcome one dog in the bedroom with you at an extra charge of £10.00 per night. When exercising your pet in the garden please clean up afterwards and dispose of any waste in the rubbish bins provided. Prior to your arrival the room will be deep cleaned meeting all government protocol standards. If you are displaying any signs of COVID19 illness prior to your arrival you should not travel. If you feel unwell during your stay you should notify the owner and make plans to return home immediately.
