"Greenery on the Hill" - near W&L and downtown

My spacious private ground-floor apartment is located close to campuses and restaurants. Modern well-equipped kitchen. Private entrance & parking. THE BASE PRICE IS FOR TWO GUESTS TO USE ONE BEDROOM. If you change the number of guests using the space, please make an official change in your reservation on the AirBB website, and AirBB will tell you your new price. The second bedroom contains, in addition to a queen-size bed, a love seat with a pull-out single bed. If you plan to use the pull-out bed, please ask to have it made up. Please maintain quiet after 11:00 pm. The apartment has its own private entrance door and keypad lock. You have access to the entire ground floor of our two-story house. We live upstairs in a separate living space. You are welcome to walk in our garden and anywhere else on our property. We would be happy to answer any questions. We'll leave a page for you with Wi-Fi login instructions, how to adjust the thermostat, and other advice. For questions or advice, telephone us, or walk around to our front or side door upstairs and knock. The house is located near the top of a hill, one of the highest points in Lexington (not saying much), and it is surrounded on most sides by open fields and a small forest of cedar trees. You'll probably see deer and our neighbor's cat wandering around. You can walk to Washington and Lee University or downtown in 15-20 minutes (another 5 minutes to VMI), and you can drive there or downtown in 5 minutes. ... For a relaxing walk, follow the Woods Creek Walking Trail, which you can pick up after a 5 minute walk from our house. At the corner where you'll meet the trail (McLaughlin and Lime Kiln), you'll find a little playground, and if you turn right onto the trail, you'll reach a larger playground, past the elementary school. Turning left will lead you on a pretty path along the tree-lined creek passing Washington-and-Lee and VMI. Directions. GPS will take you close to our place, but you'll need specific directions from us to actually find our house. You'll see these directions after you book the apartment. . . . *Note: driving to the Horse Center requires 15-20 minutes. . . . We cannot accommodate semi-trailers or other long vehicles with limited turning capacity.
