Charming & quaint! 900 sf of private space for YOU (an entire level of the home) in this 1919 abode that is nestled in West Aurora's architecturally significant historic district. 5 mins from Downtown Aurora, with the Paramount Theatre & Riveredge Park. Very close to Chicago Premium Outlet Mall & Fox Valley Center. Excellent area to bicycle/walk on the meandering path along the Fox River. Train to Chicago 7 mins. away. $10 whole weekend Metra passes. The lower level retreat offers you a plethora of exercise options if you so desire. There are two stationary bikes, one a recumbent and one a conventional upright. Dumbbells? Of course! Up to 20 lbs. No need to fret about missing exercise on your trip....this space can double as your own personal gym...that is, if you want it to! There is a 55 inch Roku TV with soundbar and speakers that offers a lot of FREE content...Netflix, Philo, Pandora, Youtube and the Roku Channel among others! With a microwave, coffee machine, toaster oven, fridge and delicious complimentary treats, you can settle in for sleep, study, rest, or vim and vigor! Of course, there is a powder room with a hair dryer, should you need one but there isn't an en suite shower....but you can arrange to use my shower with its award winning shower head...just kidding but it is quite nice with 6 heads. I am quite flexible for the shower, just about any morning until 10:00 am and Saturdays before 8:30 am. You will have privacy with your own entrance from outside. You have free reign in the lower level and can make an appointment for the shower on the first floor. All towels, washcloths and soap provided! The Boulevard District is a tapestry of architectural wonders from the 1860s to the 1930s. This quaint and charming area arouses the senses as it showcases many mansions and craftsman style homes and the unique designs of revered architects, Eugene Malmer and John Minott. Aurora's historic west side hugs the slopes that ascend from the beautiful Fox River and extends for another two miles. My home was built in 1919 and is very close to Aurora University, Rasmussen College and Waubonsee Community College. It is also within minutes of the Paramount Theater, Chicago Premium Outlet Mall and RiverEdge Park. Coming from Chicago's loop or Midway or O'Hare? Easy! Just take the Metra from Union Station directly to the Aurora Transportation Center which is 5 minutes to my home via vehicle. The airports require an extra (Website hidden by Airbnb) take a line into Union Station and then depart for Aurora! You can catch Aurora's public bus service, Pace, just around the corner from my home!
