Casa de Outrora

This is a traditional portuguese stone house located in a small and quiet countryside village, 7km away from Vila Velha de Ródão. Its peaceful environment make it the ideal escape for a holiday, short or long weekend or a mid-week break. This house is located in a very calm and friendly village, surrounded by the Geopark Naturtejo . There are many hiking and biking trails in the area, which makes this house the perfect one for those looking forward to spend some time in the Nature. Ground floor has a bedroom and includes kitchen, bathroom and living room, which may be shared with the host. The first floor, which includes 4 bedrooms, bathroom and living room, offers the guests independent stair access from the exterior. There's a garden and terrace on the back of the house, where you can dry your clothes under the sun, with a beautiful view over the mountain. We are always available to help you, even when away from the house. There are everyday trains from Lisboa and Porto arriving to Vila Velha de Ródão, from where you can pick a taxi to drive you through the remaining 7 km. The house includes a parking spot and storage for your bike. Twice a week the baker come to the village. As for groceries, these can be bought in Vila Velha de Ródão.
