Our guests have total privacy and their own front door. Our village is located 2 miles from the pretty market town of Cockermouth with a variety of shops and restaurants. This is a great place to explore the lakes of Loweswater, Crummock, and Buttermere as well as the coast and northern fells. A car is a must. There is a bus service which runs a couple of times a day to Cockermouth and to the coast at Maryport. The closest train station is Maryport. (4 miles) There is a pub nearby (100 yards) which serves food.
