Quaint Cottage, Bedroom #2 only

Eclectic, cozy, cottage feel in a quiet neighborhood. You are renting the king size bedroom of my house. If interested in renting both rooms, check my other listings for availability (and lower combined price). While bedrooms are private, the house is a shared space. There may be other guests if you only rent one room. I travel often, but there is a possibility that I may be home. I love meeting my Airbnb guests! They have all been a great experience! Highland, Illinois is a quiet "Norman Rockwell-ish" type of town complete with a town square, fountain and all! Local events include Street Art, Switzerfest, Kirchenfest, and Art in Park. Send a message with any questions you have! Guests are renting a bedroom, but are welcome to use all the upstairs space, with the exception of the storage bedroom. Use the living room, kitchen, bathroom and backyard. Check with owners schedule if you prefer to stay alone. The best part about hosting is meeting guests if I'm in town. Enjoy the house and make yourself at home. Cook, use the refrigerator, watch tv... (although I only have local channels through an antenna. If I’m home, I will be using the living room and kitchen. You are welcome to join me or use the space as well. This is joint area. With this booking, you are booking the private bedrooms but all other areas are shared. I do travel often, so if you prefer to rent house privately, you must email me ahead to check my schedule. While Highland is a great location, it is only 30 minutes to the Mississippi River and downtown St. Louis! Also conveniently located close to historic Lebanon, Greenville and Edwardsville, Illinois. Parking for 1 car is available on right hand side of driveway. I park inside garage in the left. There is plenty of street parking, just avoid driveways and mailboxes!
