Charming Grade II listed cottage in Shaftesbury

A charming Grade II listed cottage, just a 10 minute walk from the centre of Shaftesbury with easy access to countryside and coast. Comfortable accommodation for up to 8 guests with off street parking. The cottage comprises of fully fitted kitchen, dining room and sitting room both with wood burning stoves, ground floor family bathroom, upstairs cloakroom and four bedrooms over two floors. There is a pretty garden to the front of the property with two seating areas. Kitchen is fully fitted with kettle, nespresso coffee machine, toaster, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, american fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. In addition to wifi, there is a cupboard full of dvd's, puzzles and board games, a Wii console with a selection of games and a Nintendo Switch dock, paper, colouring pens and many books for all ages - lots to occupy you while snuggled up in front of a roaring fire. Whilst the cottage can sleep 8, the sitting room is snug for 6 people. The dining room has 6 chairs with two stools available as extra seating. Shaftesbury High Street is a 10 minute walk from the cottage and boasts an array of shops, pubs, as well as the famous Gold Hill. Both staircases are steep with narrow treads. In order to access the bedrooms on the second floor guests will need to pass through either one of the first floor bedrooms. Windows in the second floor bedrooms are at floor level, there are security bars across the windows but we would advise the rooms are not suitable for young children to use unsupervised. Check in from 3pm on day of arrival and check out by 3pm on day of departure. Do let us know if you would like to arrive earlier or leave later as we can usually accommodate these requests.
