Beautiful countryhouse situated in the small,traditional village of Marantochori, located at the south part of Lefkada! The "K" house is a vacation house situated in Marantochori village, at the south part of Lefkada, about 30 km from the island's center. It is a 100m2 vacation house set in a private area of (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) square meters filled with trees and flowers. The house is designed in complete harmony with the landscape, beautifully decorated and equipped by care and personal work of the owners, makes quests feel at home . There is a large open plan living room (fire place, sofas, TV), an elegant dining area and a very well equipped kitchen. Every space leads out on to the garden, the raised courtyard with pergola and the outdoor dining. Moving inside there is a master bedroom with a WC, two twin rooms and a small WC. Sitting at a small, traditional village, far from noise and crowd and so close to a lot of activities (swimming, fishing, wind or kite surfing, riding, walking, climbing etc), the house is ideal for both : lazy or more active vacations. At the village you can find a market and an artisan shop, a traditional grill house and a gas station. The nearby village of Vassiliki (5 min. by car), affords a good choice of taverns and ¨cafés, as well as a lot of water-sports facilities and instructions for windsurfing. The harbor of cosmopolitan Nidri (15min. by car) offers one day trip by boat to Kefallonia, Meganisi, Scorpios, Madouri. There is a variety of artisan shops, taverns, restaurants, bars, ¨café¨and supermarkets. At Sivota bay (5 min. by car) you can find taverns with fresh fish and several cafe-bars where you can have your dinner and drinks while watching the numerous sailing boats sitting at the peaceful little harbor. The nearby beaches are Amousso, Afteli, Agiofilli and Vassiliki, all famous for their clean, deep blue waters. It is better to have a personal means of transport.
