Large stone farm house set in a peaceful 11 acres near Millicent. Open plan modern kitchen, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, air fryer, coffee pod machine , fridge, freezer, 2 dining areas, lounge, wood fire, reverse cycle air conditioner in 1 room and 2 TV's . DVD player, DVD's, CD's, toys, games, books 4 carpeted bedrooms with ceiling fans. All Linen supplied Shower, bath , vanity and new separate toilet. Outside Dunny 2 Semi enclosed pergola's, gas BBQ, Seating x 2 Paddocks This is a Mt Gambier stone house in impeccable condition. It has 4 bedrooms and is ideally situated for country living in the rural township of Tantanoolah, famous for the Tantanoolah Tiger and caves. Majura Station which is famous for its Wagyu beef is a short drive. If geological wonders are your interest the Limestone Coast has a number of magnificent sights, with diving underwater caves being local to the house in Tantanoola and Pines and Kilby Caves. The house is only 10 minutes drive from Millicent, and 20 minutes from South Australia's second biggest town of Mt Gambier. It's 40 minutes from Beachport and a bit further is Robe where fresh seafood can be bought. The house is 55 minutes from The Coonawarra Wine Region and ideally placed between Melbourne and Adelaide for families doing a road tour. The house is on a 11 acre property, with paddocks surrounding the house, sometimes used to agist farm animals such as sheep and cows. Please note this is a Farm House surrounded by animas and during Summer month flies can sneak into the house, which is no reflection of the standard of hygiene or lack of cleaning. Our cleaner does a pre check in clean if there has been a gap between guests, so please don't complain that there are dead flies in the house, this is beyond our control. Our furniture is well kept with new mattresses on beds. Some furniture is second hand, it's an AIRBN not a 5 star hotel so please do not book if both a Rural and Farmstay is not for you or you want 5 star accommodation. You can occupy the whole house and surrounding garden area. Not the paddocks as the farm animals aren't pets. The reservation PRIMARILY covers 4 people, Extra guests incur extra costs and is to be negotiated before booking I won't be on site at all. We agist animals in the paddocks so the farmers may visit from time to time. You are surrounded by paddocks You will need your own vehicle Please keep up to date with changes to your own States and Territories COVID travel restrictions. Victorians entering into South Australia need to complete a Cross Border Travel Form to be able to come into SA. The Service fee you pay is NOT a cleaning fee and goes to Airbnb For each person in the house we have to pay specific insurance on top of our usual household insurance costs Please don't approach the animals in the paddock they are not pets. Also, a local farmer may attend the property on intermittent occasions to check on their animals. There are a number of historic out buildings which are best not to be accessed by children, unsupervised.
