A comfortable environment in the downstairs area of a beautiful historical Queenslander home located in Townsville, the Capital of North Queensland. We have a self-contained cool separate living space on our 2 storey property with 2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen and 1 bathroom. The guest entrance is independant. Outside, a pool and adjacent outdoor furniture are available for guest’s respectful enjoyment. Please note that the upstairs area is our personal area with two adults, two children and two cats and as such are private spaces unless invited. Interaction is totally up to the guest: we are happy to give you your peace or share a chat. If any set up, maintenance or repair in your space is planned you will be informed ASAP. Please be aware that while we endeavour to maintain your privacy, we may very occasionally need to access the kitchen and lounge areas. Hermit Park is a leafy central suburb of Townsville very close to the CBD between the Ross River and its incredible bikeways/walkways and one of the main transport routes in Townsville. The property is along the bicentennial park with a direct access to it and to the Ross River bikeways/walkways. Major supermarkets and take aways are a 10 minute walk or a short drive away with some great coffee shops also in the area. Located 10 meters from a bus stop to the CBD, Townsville’s hospital and University and 150 meters from one of Townsville’s main transport routes with regular bus services to central Townsville. 10 min drive to the University, Hospital, City center and the beach. The open kitchen is fitted with a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, oven, ceramic cooktop, toaster, jug, cutlery, cups, glasses and plates. A starter breakfast basket with coffee, tea, milk, cereal are provided on the first day. Own arrangements afterwards for multi-day stays. Our location makes it very easy to get to the many Townsville Cultural Events throughout the year. Some bikes may be rented if needed (20$ per bike per day)
