A charming 2nd floor apartment above a antique/ collectible store called The Hodgepodge Shop in Leeds N.Y. It's only about a mile from the NYS thruway exit 21 so it's easy to find and hard to get lost. It has two bedrooms the master bedroom has one deluxe queen size bed , linen closet ,dresser , writing table and chair, and the other bedroom has a leather recliner, a stocked bookshelf and table with chairs that can be used as an office if you don't wish to inflate the queen size air mattress The entire apartment is at your disposal, the master bedroom with writing table, there is an eat in kitchen,a pantry that holds a large assortment of cooking accessories, indoor grill, crock pots, toasters, Keurig coffee maker, etc... A nice sized living room with two couches that have electric recliners built in, a 52 inch Samsung flat screen tv excellent WiFi. with Eero, a roku stick for movies and news or if you prefer, a view of the lovely little village of Leeds N.Y. lastly, a reading room stocked with a few dozen paperbacks from various genres, with a proper reading light and most importantly a Huge overstuffed leather recliner. This room has a full sized bed. There is a beautiful swimminghole behind the Hodgepodge Lodge, just ask and I'll tell you the secret way in. I will probably be running the Hodgepodge shop antique and collectible store, we do a good amount of repurposing, so you'll find me in the backyard listening to the Catskill creek, just ask me and I'll give you a tour. I will leave you my cell # And email so we can have communication when needed. I love this Town! Just ask my family and friends, I have bored them on end with details about it's early American history, the stone bridge that was built in 1775, my friend & neigbors house built in 1740, or more recently the dye tank that dyed Yankee uniforms blue in the 1860s. It's not big but it's got a lot of charm, the stone church across the street was built in 1832, down what was one part of the Mohican trail, is the the beautiful brick house on the property with a blue NYS historical sight sign designating it as the original Fording place where wagons could ford the river on their way out west safely because of the Catskill creeks rock bottom and slower waters on that spot. Walk, hike, car,or I can rent you a bike. You don't have to cook when you stay here, a quarter mile up the road is Gracie's Luncheonette
